Accessibility

Week to Plate is being built with accessibility as an ongoing priority. We want meal planning tools to be usable by as many people as possible and continue to improve the experience as the product develops.

How we build for access

Current screens use semantic headings and labeled form controls. Important form descriptions and errors are associated with their fields, and changing status or error messages are announced where needed.

Core navigation and controls are designed for keyboard use with visible focus indicators. Responsive layouts are tested at narrow mobile widths, and meaning is not intended to depend on color alone.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a finished claim. Week to Plate has not been formally certified and does not claim complete conformance with a particular accessibility standard. We continue to test and improve the product as features change.

Found an accessibility problem?
