Terms of Use

These terms explain the practical rules for using Week to Plate.

Last updated: September 21, 2026

A planning tool, not a substitute for your judgment

Week to Plate helps organize recipes, meal plans, pantry information, grocery lists, prep tasks, and budgets. You remain responsible for deciding whether any suggestion, ingredient, quantity, recipe, or plan is suitable for your household.

Allergies and dietary needs

Never rely on Week to Plate alone for an allergy, intolerance, medically required diet, or other safety-sensitive restriction. Classifications and ingredient matches may be incomplete or wrong; source recipes, substitutions, and product formulations can change; and cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed.

Independently review the original recipe, every ingredient list and product label, preparation method, substitutions, and relevant cross-contamination information. Week to Plate does not provide medical or dietetic advice.

Nutrition, pricing, and recommendations

Nutrition may come from a recipe source and can vary with brands, quantities, serving sizes, substitutions, and preparation. Grocery prices, package sizes, promotions, taxes, regional availability, estimates, and budget fit may be incomplete or change. Week to Plate does not guarantee an exact grocery total or strict budget compliance.

Recommendations, ingredient overlap, grocery quantities, prep plans, seasonal guidance, prices, and recipe classifications are planning aids and may require your review.

Third-party recipes and sites

Week to Plate may reference and organize recipes from third-party creators and publishers. Those creators retain their applicable rights. Original source links are provided where available, and external sites have their own terms and privacy practices.

If you own or represent recipe content referenced by Week to Plate and would like us to review its inclusion, attribution, or source link, you can submit a Recipe Removal Request.

Your content

You retain the rights you hold in recipes, notes, preferences, and other content you provide. You give Week to Plate permission to store, process, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate the service and the features you choose to use. You are responsible for having the right to provide that content.

Acceptable use

Do not use Week to Plate unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, abuse public forms, interfere with other users, or run deliberately disruptive automation. We may restrict activity needed to protect the service and its users.

Availability and changes

Week to Plate is actively developed. Features, source data, and availability may change, and service may occasionally be interrupted. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Rights and reasonable limits

The Week to Plate name, interface, software, and original design belong to their respective owner. This does not transfer ownership of third-party recipes or user-provided content.

The service is provided as available for planning convenience. To the extent permitted by law, Week to Plate is not responsible for indirect losses or decisions made without independently checking safety-sensitive, price, nutrition, or source information. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
